Girl group Cherry Bullet has picked its goal to win the Rookie of the Year award and enter the Billboard chart.
Cherry Bullet held a showcase at Yes24 Live Hall in Gwangjang-dong, Gwangjin-gu, Seoul on January 21 at 2PM to mark the release of their debut album "Let's Play Cherry Bullet." "Because we're just rookies in our debut, we want to work hard to let you know us," said Cherry Bullet. "We'd like to work hard and try to win the Rookie of the Year award if it's possible." they said.
Bora said, "You should have a big dream from a long time ago. It was so glorious that we were selected as the "2019 Anticipated K-pop Rookie" by Billboard. We'll work hard with the goal of getting on the Billboard chart with our songs," she said.
The title track "Q&A" is a bright, energetic song with a fresh upbeat sound. Like the song's title, the members wonder what questions they might be asked in the future. It adds to the fun of listening to Cherry Bullet's bold remarks like the lyrics, "I'll look after you well from now on." The album featured three songs, including "Q&A," "VIOLET" and Stick Out."
Cherry Bullet is a combination of the contrasting images of a Cherry and a Bullet, meaning a girl group that will shoot at the public's heart with its lovely yet energetic charm like a Cherry. The group consists of a total of ten people including Haeyoon, who previously took the stage at the live final of Mnet's "Produce 48," Yuju, Mirae, Bora, Jiwon, Kokoro, Remi, Chaerin, Linlin and May.
All songs of Cherry Bullet's debut album will be released on various music sites at 6PM.
