New entertainers, Cherry Bullet, have entered the U.S. Billboard World Digital Song sales chart with their debut single.
According to Billboard, Cherry Bullet's debut single "Let's Play Cherry Bullet" entered the World Digital Song Sales Chart and they made their debut on the World Digital Song Sales Chart With ‘Q&A’.
Billboard expressed expectations for future activities, saying that Cherry Bullet, who debuted on the chart for the first time in 2019, is the eighth K-pop girl group to put their debut single on the chart (with the exception of unit groups). Also referring to Cherry Bullet's goal of entering the Billboard chart, they said, "No doubt after their long-awaited debut, Cherry Bullet is dreaming big, but at the same time, we are seeing that they have already achieved their goal."
In particular, Billboard mentioned the heightened status of K-pop in the global market, along with Cherry Bullet's entry into the charts. "From 2012 to 2017, one or two groups put one or two singles on the chart, but five teams entered the chart in 2018," Billboard said. "This indicates that the U.S. is not only interested in K-pop but also in K-pop girl groups in particular."
Cherry Bullet's debut song "Q&A" is a bright, energetic song with a fresh upbeat sound, which blithely unravels the image of Cherry Bullet wondering what curiosities might be asked in the future. Cherry Bullet is presenting a lovely and energetic performance through the music broadcast stage.
